Welcome to Empower UK Employment Training (“Empower”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a brand of Explore Management Limited. By using our website, purchasing courses, or accessing our online learning platform, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Definitions

User / You / Customer – the individual registering or purchasing our services.
Platform – our website, learning management system, and related applications.
Course / Service – any training, study materials, assessments, or certificates provided.
Course Materials – digital content such as videos, text, downloads, and resources.
User Content – any content you upload or share (e.g. reviews, forum posts, feedback).
Access Period – the duration of time you may access a course after purchase.

2. Updates to Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on our website. If you continue to use our services, you are deemed to accept the revised Terms.

3. Registration & Eligibility

You must register with accurate details including your full name and email address.
You must keep your login details secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
You confirm you are at least 18 years old, or have parental/guardian consent to use our services.
If false information is provided, we may suspend or close your account.

4. Purchases & Payments

Payment is taken immediately at checkout. Your enrolment is confirmed only once payment is received and you receive an email confirmation.
Prices will be displayed clearly before purchase.
If a pricing error occurs, we may cancel your enrolment and refund your payment.
If payment is declined or reversed, your access may be suspended until resolved.

5. Refunds & Cancellations

In line with UK consumer law, you may cancel your purchase within 14 days of purchase if you have not started or accessed significant course content.

Refunds will be made via the same payment method unless agreed otherwise.
Some services (e.g. live training or customised courses) may be non-refundable. This will be made clear at the point of purchase.
Refund requests must be made within 12 months of purchase.

6. Course Access & Use

Access to courses is limited to the Access Period stated at enrolment.
You may use course materials only for personal, non-commercial learning.
You must not copy, share, resell, or distribute course materials.
All intellectual property in course content remains the property of Empower or our licensors.

7. User Content

Any content you post (reviews, comments, uploads) must be original and not infringe others’ rights.
You grant us a non-exclusive licence to use your feedback or reviews for promotional purposes.
You may not upload unlawful, offensive, or harmful content.
You are fully responsible for any content you share.

8. Support & Technical Issues

We provide reasonable support for technical issues, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.
We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control (internet issues, third-party services, maintenance).

9. Limitation of Liability

Courses are provided “as is”. We do not guarantee specific results, such as employment outcomes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties.
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant course or service.
We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses (e.g. lost data, lost profits)

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Empower, its staff and instructors against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of our platform or breach of these Terms.

11. Confidentiality

Any confidential information shared between you and us must not be disclosed to third parties, unless required by law.

12. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, or regulatory changes.

13. Third-Party Links

Our platform may include links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content or availability.

14. Termination of Account

We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms.
Termination may also apply if fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity is detected.
You may request closure of your account at any time by contacting us.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, represent the entire agreement between you and Explore Management Limited trading as Empower UK Employment Training.
